Short and specific: what Pacific Beach Sub-Zero Appliance Repair undertakes to do, what it charges for, and what it stands behind afterwards.
The work itself
These terms cover residential appliance repair carried out by Pacific Beach Sub-Zero Appliance Repair in Pacific Beach: working out what has failed, fixing it, and servicing the equipment afterwards.
On the day
A wine cooler climate regulation & repairs unit is repaired in place rather than dragged out, which means the front of it has to be reachable — and where the fault involves water, so does the shut-off. An adult over 18 must be present throughout the visit.

Money
Every repair is quoted before work begins, as one figure covering parts and labor. Payment falls due when the job is finished, not before.
Components
We buy OEM parts, or source them from an authorized supplier when the factory part is unavailable, and fit those. Pattern and refurbished components are available and Pacific Beach Sub-Zero Appliance Repair does not use them unless you ask and we have agreed in advance.
Diagnosis
Panels come off and readings are taken before a number is given. Where a fault cannot be reproduced during the visit you will be told that, because fitting a speculative part at your expense is not diagnosis.
What our warranty covers

What it is not is a service contract on the appliance — a later fault with a different cause, damage from misuse or a power event, and anyone else's work afterwards all sit outside it. Liability
License and insurance details are handed over on request, before anything is touched. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, manufacturer defects, spoiled food, or problems unrelated to the repair we carried out.
If your plans change
A booking can be moved or cancelled free of charge up to the point the technician is dispatched. One phone call does it.
Governing law
The governing law is that of the State of California.
